Hannah's Birth Story
The moment I found out I was pregnant with my second baby, I knew that I wanted to avoid the hospital. Not just due to COVID-19 concerns, but also to avoid any unnecessary medical interventions. In researching Midwives and home birth, I had a good feeling that this was the right choice for me. Working with Val and Nicole was a wonderful experience from start to finish. I loved that my prenatal visits were not at all rushed and personal and in the comfort of my own home.
When our baby girl decided to join us, six days late, I knew I was in good hands with Nicole and Val. I was lucky that the whole day went very smoothly and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I felt safe and taken care of every step of the way. They were able to focus solely on me and my baby versus rotating patients as the hospital experience might provide. Being able to crawl into my own bed and bond with our new baby, Reese, was a real highlight and I thank Nicole and Val for helping me safely deliver her into this world!
